General Description

FMC-SDI Mezzanine card with 2 x independent SDI video inputs and 2 x independent SDI video outputs. Supports SD-SDI, ED-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI modes up to full HD1080p60 resolution. Does not require high-speed Gbit transceivers in the FPGA base-board as the SDI interfaces and SERDES are are built into the design. Features SDI cable equalization, cable drivers and a simple LVDS interface with the FPGA logic. The card is compatible with all development boards that feature the standard FMC-LPC, FMC-HPC or FMC+ connector (ANSI/VITA 57.1). Examples include those from AMD®, Altera®, Microchip®, Lattice Semiconductor® and Digilent®.

- Support for low-cost, low-power FPGAs and SoCs like Spartan-7, Zynq-7000, Cyclone 10 LP etc.
- 2 x M3 mounting holes for securing the FMC connector
- 2 x M3 mounting holes for supporting standoff 'legs'
- Example RTL source-code provided for easy board bringup
- Compatible with a wide range of FMC base-boards
